What formats are supported?

Short version: Wavify processes your audio entirely inside your browser. Your files never leave your device. We collect no personal data and make no server uploads.

1. Who we are

Wavify (wavify.app) is a free, browser-based audio compression and conversion tool. We do not require registration or an account to use it.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect your audio files, personal identifiers, account data (there are no accounts), or IP addresses stored against individual users.

3. Your files stay on your device

All audio processing happens entirely inside your browser using the Web Audio API and WebAssembly. Your audio files are never uploaded to any server at any point.

4. Local storage

Wavify may store your language preference in localStorage so the correct language is shown on your next visit. No other data is persisted.

5. Cookies and advertising

Wavify uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history.

6. Third-party services

Wavify loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts and two open-source libraries (lamejs, JSZip) from public CDNs. These requests may expose your IP address to those providers under their own privacy policies.
