Frequently asked questions

Is my audio uploaded to any server?
No. Everything runs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. Your files never leave your device.
What is audio bitrate?
Bitrate controls how much data is used per second of audio. Higher bitrate = better quality, larger file. 128 kbps is standard; 320 kbps is near-lossless for MP3.
What formats are supported?
You can load MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC and M4A. Output supports MP3 (custom bitrate), WAV and OGG.
What does Mono vs Stereo do?
Mono merges both channels into one, roughly halving the file size. Stereo preserves left and right channels.
How does batch renaming work?
Set a prefix, suffix, and optional auto-numbering. The output name is assembled as: [number_]prefix + original + suffix[_number] + .ext.
